Do I need carrier-calculated shipping enabled?
Yes. Shopify requires carrier-calculated shipping to display third-party rates at checkout. This is included on all Shopify plans. If you are on a legacy plan that does not include it, Shopify can add it for a small monthly fee.

Will this conflict with my existing shipping methods?
No. Amazon Shipping appears as an additional shipping method alongside your existing carriers. You control which methods are active per shipping profile.

Do I need to sell on Amazon?
No. Amazon Shipping is open to all merchants as of 2026. You only need a Seller Central account to access the shipping service.
